Hello. My name is Yann, I’m a french photographer based in Singapore.
I was born in a quaint town in Brittany, France and initially pursued a career in chemistry. However, my passion for science paved an unexpected path, leading me to embrace my inner shutterbug and delve into the realm of photojournalism in the vibrant city of Paris. During my time there, I had the incredible opportunity to work alongside exceptional photographers whose expertise broadened my perspective and enriched my experiences. This journey opened my eyes to the harmonious fusion of art and science, unveiling the intricate beauty that can be meticulously crafted and immortalized through the lens. Each encounter deepened my conviction and revealed my true vocation in life. Consequently, I found myself drawn to the profession more and more with every flicker of possibility. Eventually, destiny beckoned me to the shores of sunny Singapore, where I have happily established my second home.
When not indulging my inner techy geek exploring the craft or satisfying my wanderlust through my lens, I can flip a mean crêpe one-handedly with a cider in the other.
